Today’s Assignment
English Language Arts-Students will read and comprehend expository texts with accuracy and fluency. Students will answer questions about the text to show their understanding. Students will was identify main ideas and key details from the passage and use text features to find information. Vocabulary strategy- students will identify antonyms. Working with words- students will be identifying words that have the long e sounds and changing words from singular to plural. Grammar- students will be working with linking verbs. Writing- students will write an opinion letter that includes reasons that support his/her opinion. Mathematics- students will solve addition and subtraction word problems within 100 and fluently add and subtract within 100.
