Today’s Assignment
For this assignment, students will watch the video at the link provided (if your class watched this video already, you should probably watch it again as a refresher) and will try this exercise on their own faces in a mirror or another persons face. Continuous line drawing is an important exercise in line that helps students get a grasp of form. Reminders:
– Constantly reference the face you are drawing, don’t rely on memory.
– The only “rule” for this is that you use one continuous line throughout the drawing, don’t pick up your pencil or pen!
– Pay close attention to what the woman in the video does and says. Her advice is really helpful!
