Today’s Assignment
Read the attached short story and then answer the questions that are assigned to the text in a separate document. As you read The Waste Land, notice the relationship between the man and the boy stuck under the lorry. What is significant about their relationship? Also consider what we know about Southern Africa during the time period this was written according to what we know about Alan Paton.
