Today’s Assignment
Students will complete their Scientific Notation Project packet. Students are to pick a planet from our Solar System. Once they have picked the planet they need to describe an interesting fact about the planet, tell the distance from Earth to that planet, and the diameter of the planet. After they find those two distances they need to write those numbers in Standard Form and Scientific Notation using the correct units. Students will also ask one teacher where they are from and find the distance from that city to Barbourville in Standard Form and Scientific Notation.
