Today’s Assignment
Students are to analyze a quote by Doris Bergen and explain what they think it means citing evidence from the quote. They are to analyze pictures about Jewish life in Europe prior to the Holocaust. Students will then answer questions about the pictures. Next, students will watch a video “A Day in Warsaw “ at www.facinghistory.org/resource-library/video/day-warsaw and answer questions about the video. Students may email the answers to the teacher or write them on a sheet of paper. They can also get a copy of the activity when they return to school. The film is about 10 minutes.
