Today’s Assignment
Day 7-You need to write ONE 3.8 paragraph. You know that a 3.8 is a paragraph that includes three key details and 8 total sentences. Try to conduct some research on the damaging effects of flooding. If you have internet access, you could use the internet to find some information. If not, just ask some adults what they know concerning flood damage. Then, please write ONE 3.8 paragraph explaining the damaging effects of flooding. In your paragraph, please be sure to write in COMPLETE sentences, and also try to make some of those into compound sentences. Make this paragraph complete-with idioms, similes, metaphors, and even a little personality-all of those things that “spice up our writing”. When done correctly, this should take around 20 to 30 minutes. This will allow for you to practice writing a paragraph in the correct structure, as well as aid in sharpening your writing skills! Please write with your best handwriting possible. Good luck!
