Today’s Assignment

The Black Death was the name for the bubonic plague that spread throughout Europe between 1347 and 1350. It had no cure and was highly contagious. Historians believe over 100 million people may have died to this terrible disease. It was an event that brought lasting change to the political and social structure of medieval Europe. The Black Death did not reach North or South America during the Middle Ages, but it had lasting effects that are still felt in our world today.
