Today’s Assignment
English Language Arts- students will read and comprehend informational text with accuracy and fluency. Students will answer questions about the text to show their understanding. Students will also identify the author’s purpose and know how to use text features to find information. Vocabulary Strategy- students will be identifying synonyms. Working with words- students will be working with words that have long vowels and contractions. Writing- Students will write an opinion letter that includes reasons that support his/her opinion. Grammar- Students will identify verbs that are past-tense. Mathematics- Students will solve addition and subtraction word problems within 100 and fluently add and subtract within 100.
