Today’s Assignment

In this lesson, students will be reviewing and practicing the important chemical concept of acid-base reactions. This is in alignment with the 2019 AP Chemistry Course and Exam Description for Topics 4.6 “Introduction to Titration”, 4.7 “Types of Chemical Reactions”, and 4.8 “Introduction to Acid-Base Reactions”.
1. Students are to use the textbook pages for the section “4.8 Acid-Base Reactions” and complete this assignment on lined paper. Review all related text, figures, and interactive examples. Work should be unique to each student. Collaboration is encouraged, but direct copying will result in loss of points.

2. Complete exercises 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, and 84. Please show all work and don’t forget about your units. Please cross out units in calculations when needed. Be sure to circle or box your final answers.

This assignment may take upwards of 90 minutes, which takes into consideration class time (60 minutes) and homework time (30 minutes).
