Today’s Assignment
As a follow-up to the previous lesson about the three factors that led to the fall of the Roman Empire, students will use a word bank to complete 5 sentences and then respond to a “THINKING” question on the worksheet. Students may view the BrainPop video about the Fall of the Roman Empire or READ the Movie Transcript. This assignment will take approximately 25 minutes to complete (10 minutes to Read the passage/transcipt or watch the video about the Fall of Rome, 5 minutes to complete the five sentences and 10 minutes to think and write a paragraph).
The attachments for the Worksheet, Movie Transcript and Reading Passage handouts are posted here on this website link. Students may choose to print the Worksheet or use Notebook Paper to write their answers. The student may access all handouts, the LINK to the BrainPop Video Clip and other needed information for this assignment on their Google Classroom for Social Studies. When logging on to Google Classroom, students use their school email and password.
