Go to Flocabulary and find the lesson called “Making Inferences.” Watch the video, complete the vocabulary cards, the vocabulary game, the read and respond, and the quiz.
Cite relevant textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. R.L. 8.1
I can make an inference or read between the lines. I can also use text to support my inference.
This (lesson) song teaches students how to find clues in writing and speech to make an inference. Students will be making inferences and drawing conclusions from text evidence in no time!
